As bright and garish as it seems, the way finding within this Nail Salon in Mexico City, by designers ROW Studio is clear, and rather in your face! Each cabin is assigned and identified by a colour which can be located by following the corresponding lines on the epoxy resin floor. The lights are fixed to the wall as a continuous strip with 45° and 90° angles as a way to liberate height from the low ceiling of the space.
The salon is not exactly huge, and it isn’t as if you could get lost, however, for the ease and reassurance of identifying which treatment room you should or should not enter (after all, we do sometimes forget, not matter how large or small a space) following the correct colour from the reception desk puts all these worries aside, and removes any risk of anyone entering the wrong treatment room mid unrobing!
